Internet access is never perfect and is regularly subject to limitations. Internet access providers can only guarantee the quality of the connection to the edge of their network, but not further beyond that point. The internet is, by its very nature, subject to ‘bottlenecks’, DDoS attacks and reduced performance through certain routes during their reconfiguration. No one can guarantee the same quality of connection between two specified points.
Therefore, for instances when establishing an SLA connection between two points is important and where redundancies are required, dedicated links (L2 and L3) are used. As an important communications hub, Altus IT and its telecom partners can provide any form of connection required, both within Croatia and beyond. Additionally, if a customer already uses the ‘Metro Ethernet’ service, or other, similar solutions, their hub can be deployed in the Altus IT data centre in a straightforward manner.
